Toward the future of gastrointestinal stromal tumor

About this Special Issue

  1. Manuscript Summary Submission Deadline 31 August 2026 | Manuscript Submission Deadline 30 September 2026

Background

We are currently researching gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) thanks to the accumulation of the past research. We believe that research is about connecting the accumulated knowledge of the past to the future. We are convinced that there are still hidden truths about GIST, and would like this Special issue to be a forum for in-depth discussion about GIST.

This Special issue invites submissions that will contribute to the research exploring the truths about GIST and related diseases and to the treatment of patients of these diseases. We would love to help advance your research into the future.

Potential areas of interest may include, but are not limited to:
● New insights into GIST and related disease
e.g. clinicopathological, histological, immunohistochemical, or molecular pathological characteristics
● Novel treatments for GIST and related diseases

Authors are welcome to submit articles presenting original studies or literature review work. Please consult the journal's information regarding Author Guidelines, Article Types, andPublishing Fees, or direct any questions to the Editorial Office: por@por-journal.com.

Even though abstract submission is not mandatory, we encourage all interested researchers to submit a “manuscript summary” before submitting their article. Manuscript summaries do not have to coincide with the final abstract of the article.
